I have around 10 years of experience in Voice and Accent Training, with my work covering pronunciation, accent neutralization, articulation, fluency, intonation, sentence stress, rhythm and professional communication. My approach has always been assessment-driven. I first conduct a detailed voice assessment to identify areas such as mother-tongue influence, pronunciation errors, incorrect word or sentence stress, lack of clarity, fluency gaps and inappropriate intonation. Based on the assessment, I create an individual or process-specific development plan. I have worked extensively on phonetics, difficult sounds, minimal pairs, syllabification, connected speech, stress patterns and accent neutralization. I also use practical techniques such as role plays, shadowing, read-aloud exercises, listening and repetition drills, impromptu speaking and real-life business conversations. A major part of my experience has been preparing employees for customer-facing and international communication environments. Therefore, I focus not only on how a person sounds, but also on how effectively and confidently they communicate. From a training-management perspective, I have also handled needs analysis, training-content development, assessments, feedback, coaching, performance tracking and post-training evaluation. I use frameworks such as ADDIE and Kirkpatrick where appropriate to structure and measure training interventions. I have around 5 years of experience teaching Phonics to children between the ages of 3 and 8. My experience includes building foundational reading, pronunciation, decoding and early spelling skills through structured and age-appropriate Phonics instruction. For younger learners aged 3–5, I focus primarily on phonemic awareness, letter-sound recognition, listening skills, blending and segmenting simple sounds. I use stories, actions, songs, picture cards, movement-based activities and multisensory techniques to keep the sessions engaging and developmentally appropriate. For children aged 5–8, I progressively introduce CVC words, consonant blends, digraphs, trigraphs, long and short vowel sounds, word families, tricky or sight words, decoding and spelling patterns. I also work on reading fluency, pronunciation, sentence formation and comprehension as the child's decoding ability develops. My teaching methodology is based on a structured progression: Hear the sound → Recognise the sound → Produce the sound → Blend sounds → Read words → Spell words → Read sentences → Apply the skill independently. I conduct regular assessments to identify individual learning gaps and adapt my lessons accordingly. For children who struggle with particular sounds or blending, I provide additional repetition, phonemic-awareness activities and targeted practice rather than moving ahead without mastery. I also use multisensory Phonics techniques, including visual, auditory, verbal, kinesthetic and written activities. This helps children retain sounds more effectively and makes learning interactive rather than purely worksheet-based. Over these five years, my focus has been not only on teaching sounds but on developing confident early readers who can decode unfamiliar words, understand sound patterns and gradually become independent readers and spellers.
