Ritika - Experienced & certified Tutor for Maths & English for Grades 1–9 with Concept-Based Learning

I teach students from Class 1 to Class 9 and cover all major school subjects. I have around 1 year of teaching experience and have worked with students with different learning requirements. My approach is focused on helping students understand concepts clearly, build strong fundamentals, and gradually improve their academic performance.

I particularly enjoy teaching Mathematics and English and have experience working with students from different countries and educational backgrounds. I have taught students following Indian, Australian, UK, and US curricula. This exposure has helped me understand that students may have different syllabi, expectations, and learning patterns, and I adapt my teaching accordingly.

I have completed my Bachelor of Arts (B.A.). Along with my academic background, my teaching experience has helped me develop a practical understanding of how to explain concepts to students at different levels. I believe that a good teacher should be able to simplify a difficult topic and present it in a way that the student can relate to.

My classes are based on proper lesson planning and structured learning. I first try to understand the student's current level and identify areas where they need improvement. I then organise the lessons accordingly, giving importance to conceptual clarity, regular practice, and revision.

I believe that Mathematics becomes easier when students understand the logic behind each step rather than memorising formulas. Similarly, while teaching English, I focus on strengthening fundamentals, vocabulary, grammar, comprehension, and communication skills. I encourage students to practise regularly and apply what they learn.

I use interactive sessions, PPT presentations, and a whiteboard to make my classes more engaging. I encourage students to ask questions freely and participate actively instead of remaining passive during the lesson. I also adjust the pace of the class depending on the student's understanding and comfort level.

My goal is to help students become confident learners who can approach their subjects independently. I want my classes to be a space where students feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions, and learning from them. With consistent guidance, practice, and a student-focused approach, I aim to help each student make meaningful academic progress.
