Mental Ability: The 50% Weightage Strategy For Class 6 aspirants, the Mental Ability Test (MAT) is the most critical section. My teaching involves breaking down the ten distinct figure-based segments: Pattern Recognition: I train students to identify subtle differences in "Odd-Man Out" and "Figure Matching" exercises. Spatial Visualization: Using physical paper-folding exercises, I help students master "Punched Hole Pattern" and "Space Visualization" problems, which are traditionally the most difficult for young learners to grasp. Completion of Figures: I teach a "Mirroring Technique" to help students mentally complete incomplete patterns and figure series.
