Johar Ali is the eldest son and disciple of Late Ustad Gohar Ali Khan. He belongs from traditional indian music family named Patiala and Rampur Gharana. The family is in music since two centuries.he is an Outstanding graded music artist from ICCR, Ministry of External Affairs, GOVT of India. He is also an A graded music artist from All India radio, Ministry of Information and Broadcast, Govt. of India. He has been Member of General Assembly AND also Member in the Empanelment Advisory Committee of ICCR.
He has performed all over the world at around more than thousands venues in India and Abroad. He has been invited to perform by several governmental and non governmental institutes including the ICCR, European Union, National center for performing arts Mumbai, Sangeet Natak Academy Bhubnashwer, Sahitya Kala Parishad Delhi, Karanatak Gyan Kala parishad Banglore, Spic Macay, Taj Mahotsava Agra, Bade Gulam Ali Khan Yadgar Sabha North zone cultural Center, Ministry of cultural, Indian Trade promotion center New Delhi etc.

He represented India in United Nations on the occasion of 60 years of UNESCO celebration at Paris, where he composed Music for Melody of Dialogues Among Civilizations Association. He represented India at SAARC cultural festival in Dhaka and other cities in Bangladash & also in Nepal. He has also performed in China, Indonesia, Singapore, Germany, France, Czezh Republic, Slovakia, Finland, Norway, Switzerland, Austria, Belgium, Ethopia, Djibouti, Netherlands, United Kingdom, Hong Kong, Fiji, UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Estonia, Mauritius, Australia.

Johar Ali worked as Multiple Music Teacher cum Performer at JNICC, Jakarta, Indonesia. JOHAR ALI ALSO COMPOSED MUSIC FOR SWACHH BHARAT ABHIYAN.
Recently johar ali has been felicitated by IITDM Dhanbad and Ishmeet Music Institute ludhiana. Recently VALLEBHBHAI PATEL CHEST INSTITUTE made him ANTI TABOCCO AMBASSDOR. He is A Graded Composer from All India Radio.
