If you start solving the question by splitting 5X^2 into 4X^2 + X^2, and same for Y and Z then bringing all the term in LHS , we get
(X-Y)^2 + (Y-Z)^2 + (Z-X)^2 = 0 ----(1)
Since , a^2 >=0 for all 'a' in Real number
So, from (1) we conclude that:
(X-Y)^2 =0 , (Y-Z)^2 =0 , (Z-X)^2 =0
=> (X-Y)=0 , (Y-Z) , (Z-X) =0
=> X=Y , Y=Z , Z=X
=> X:Y:Z =1:1:1
