When I was asked at my initial assessment, did I have an event coming up that I wanted to lose weight for, my reply was, "yes, life". I want the rest of my life to be the best of my life. This weight belongs to the old me, the sad me, the wounded me, the scared me. This weight was a wall I no longer need, or want. Who I am on the outside is no longer an accurate reflection of who I am on the inside, so I'm changing that one pain-staking choice at a time.My story is still being written my journey has just begun, but THAT in itself is an achievement! I've started. I've taken those first few terrifying steps. I joined the gym. I got a trainer. I'm showing up and putting in the work. I'm not the fastest or the fittest but I'm also not quitting. Today, that is my achievement!
