I am Ananya Dutt, aged 27 years, resident of Delhi..

As an Assistant Professor, I have had the opportunity to teach subjects such as Law of Contracts II, Administrative Law and Labour Law II to students of LL.B. (Hons) and B.A.LLB. (Hons) of the Department of Law at SRM University, Sonepat. I also had the benefit of heading the Moot Court Committee of Law Department at SRM University. For the same, I conducted and headed the workshop for students for the purpose of explaining the intricacies of drafting a memorial and skills required for effective oral arguments. I was also appointed as a Mentor for students of B.A.LL.B. (Hons) 2017 batch. In addition to several responsibilities handled at my position as Assistant Professor of Law, I had the opportunity to work extensively at Criteria no. 3 of NAAC for the University.

I have successfully completed my BA.LLB from University of Law and Legal Studies, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Dwarka in the year 2018, wherein after I proceeded to work as Junior Advocate at PR Law Firms, Barakhamba. After getting promoted to Associate at the firm, I craved for my true passion in teaching and research and hence, I then proceeded to complete my LLM in Alternate Dispute Resolution from Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University in the year 2021. The topic of my Dissertation which I successfully completed under the guidance of Dr. Leena Moudgil was ‘Alternate Dispute Resolution in Criminal Justice System in India: A Comparative Study’. I have also successfully cleared NET for December 2020-June 2021 (combined).

I have also as advancement in my career scheduled for interviews in several institutions for the purpose of enrolling myself for PH.D. program. I believe my academic training and three years of working in Delhi High Court and Delhi District Courts have made me quipped to be an effective instructor.
