The ferrous sulphate crystals are light green in color. This color is due to the presence of water of coordination in them. On heating, the water of coordination is lost and the crystals loses its color from light green to white.

The branch that you want to take will depend majorly on your interests in the field. But if you are looking for job opportunities after masters pharmaceutical, medicinal and analytical chemistry will help you more to get access to the medical and industrial fields of chemistry.
While in case of research and higher educations, the above mentioned branches and organic, inorganic and physical chemistry is helpful.

A covalent bond involves the sharing of electrons primarily and thus is called a molecular bond. Unlike the cases of ionic bond, the electron pairs are equally shared between the atoms, and these atoms have comparable or more or less similar electronegativity. Mostly covalent bond is seen with the carbon atom—the covalency of the carbon atom results in the formation of a wide variety of organic and inorganic compounds.
