"In student life, I haven't gained quality knowledge from books. Healthy conversations with teachers, their life character and preaching based on their culture etc, helped me in learning moral values of life. Many teachers have come in my life till now. But Thapa sir is one of those teachers whom I consider to be a Guru according to Indian tradition. During class 9 and 10, he taught all of us students with the knowledge of books as well as the art of living. As the conclusion of those two years with Thapa sir, I learned three things. First- whatever problem is there in the world, its solution takes birth before it. Therefore, we should not kneel before any problem-obstacle. Second- special attention should be given to speed in doing every task of life. Because there is nothing more important in the world than time. One should be proficient in various disciplines so that he can do more work successfully in less time. Third- the most important thing is our health. We should wake up before sunrise on daily basis. We should wake up early in the morning and do exercises- running and yoga-meditation etc. Health is the biggest asset of a person. I am trying to assimilate these qualities from class 9. I have also been successful to a great extent in this task. Due to the teachings of Thapa sir, I topped the state level sports competition in class 11 and class 12. Even today, I follow his instruction of waking before sunrise strictly."
