Go for python.

I would suggest Data Science with R. Since you are in HR domain it would be easier for you to understand the programming.

If you are from a technical background, do Python. Otherwise, do the R Course.

Don't look on tech. Learn Machine learning or Data science, which takes time, but this is the direction every company is going and the future of IT.

You would need to skill yourself with R to move into data science. Python alone cannot help. Python, along with R will help you to move into data science.
