There is no certain age to start dancing. There are some who start as young as toddlers and there are many people who've taken up dance as late as their 90s. Dance transcends age, gender, countries, cultures etc. The gist being you can learn to dance anytime, anywhere!! It's true that with age the body may become less flexible, but everything comes with practice. As an adult you might have to put in more effort than if you were younger, but no pain no gain!! Here's how you can kickstart your dance journey: Go to a room, bolt the door, put on your favorite song and do whatever comes to your mind. Just groove to the music. Even better is to do this in front of a mirror to get instant feedback from yourself. You can also look at videos of the songs you like and try and match the steps. This way you'll easily know what dance form you want to choose. Do a lil research on different dance forms and see what resonates with you.Join a foundational course at a nearby dance class. The instructor would help you decide on a dance form after understanding your movements.Always remember to warm up before you start to dance. Stretch & flex those muscles and try doing some simple exercises or Yoga to prepare your body for the session. And if you want to learn dance from the comforts of your home, but want the best Choreographers to train you then you can register on any of the best studio. Let me know if this helped. Happy Dancing! :) read less
