Many viewers watching Cricket hears the word Reverse Swing.

Now how does it works, it is an concept of Aerodynamics which usually deals with movement of the object in air and application of various forces on it.

So when bowl is delivered at respective pace (speed) the ball dips in the direction on shine of the ball depending the ball has one side shined and one side roughed.

Normal ball while swinging swings in certain direction but in case of reverse swing the ball swings with bit of extra pace and starts to dip downwards in the direction of shine, this is because the brighter side of ball cuts the air and hence movement is seen to be created because of certain forces applied on it.
