Is a company secretary really required when we have CA and lawyers, or is it indeed a professional imposed to increase the burden on companies?

A chartered accountant will be more focussed on matters relating to finance and taxation. A lawyer will look more into the legal aspects of contracts entered into by the company. When it comes to taking care of statutory compliances like incorporation, roc filing etc. the need for CS arises. read less
