Could you please suggest me how can I improve my communication? I have joined one year spoken classes as well but I don't see any improvement? Please advice.

Secondly I completely discourage reading Newspapers. third is I advice you NOT to speak to another person in English. ALL True but with conditions....

Newspapers nowadays have mastered TRP english and TRP titles. All their content nearly 95% is on crime , violence and related. You will learn all the worng things. Long long and even longer back the Newspaper English was definitely a great way to learn . NO MORE. 2. Speaking to someone means the other has to know BETTER English than YOU. AAAND he/she must be empathetic towards your desire to learn the language. I have an online Spoken English Course you may want to explore it. read less

Use simple words to express yourself. In addition, keep a track for how long you speak. You ought to be able to express yourself in about 15 seconds in a normal conversation and then you must ‘listen’. (Effective listening is equally important in communication.) Maybe you are not listening adequately enough to give a proper response. Also, focus only on one topic at a time. That will bring about more clarity in what you have to say. And try and sound positive – this can be easily achieved by using positive vocabulary. Hope that helps. read less

Communication is a broader guide. You need to understand which part of communication you tend to focus and improve. Is it stage fear/ generation of ideas/ body language or public speaking at large ? Depending on your level of current communication a personalized method should be adopted.
