I am Priya Kurian. Now let me introduce myself. I’ve migrated to Canada in 2018, I’ve worked with Saskatoon Seniors Continued Learning, University of Saskatchewan as Instructor in Ancient and Medieval India.

I’ve completed my doctorate in history and I’ve around 10 years of teaching experience, 7 ½ years as professor & head, Department of History, Mahatma Gandhi University, India and 2 years teaching at schools from primary level.

I have also received training in advanced teaching pedagogy at Sheffield Hallam University, England which included quality assurance, curriculum design, E – learning and the use of virtual learning environments, research – informed teaching, assessment and feedback methods.

I’ve done certificate courses on Indigenous Canada from the University of Alberta,
Gender and Sexuality from the University of Pittsburgh,
International Women’s Health and Human Rights from Stanford University on Coursera.

I have completed Diploma in French Language DELF A1 and DELF A2.

I have always strived to work hard and do my best from my student years. As you can see from my results, I am a first rank holder in my bachelor’s degree in the University Examinations, second rank for my Master’s, Out Standing in my Philosophy degree and Highly Commended for my thesis in doctorate.
