A normal human eye can see objects between 25cm and infinity. Any convex lens will make it possible to focus at a nearer distance. These are the types of lenses used for "far sighted" correction and are also used in reading glasses and magnifying glasses, It is also possible to get the same focusing effect by pinching your fingers together and viewing through the "pin hole" that is created. Without lenses you can also focus closer than normal by viewing things through a small hole, shining a bright light on it (which makes your pupils contract, the same thing), or pressing your finger straight against your eye to deform its shape. read less

When object is very very close to eyes then we can't see the object properly because the image don't form in the ratina.Generally the near distance of proper vision of eye is 25 cm
