Storing water for future use is water harvesting.water when it is available is collected and we can use them as and when required

It simply means that the "natural cycled water" in the form of rain is ' collected" by rooftop collection directed to a storage created specifically for collection. But outside the lake catchment, one needs to create more collection centres specially in areas of low rainfall so that there is enough water during the non rainy season for the people to use. read less
