To be putting it more straightforwardly, non-economic activity is performed with the aspect of using services to others without considering to any financial gain. These are the activities that are initiated for personal content or to meet the sentiments of people that are deemed to be non-productive or non-economic activity. Some of the non-economic activity are such as the things one would do in their free time as in acquiring pleasure time to pursue their hobbies like painting and singing etc The activities with one’s own family as in spending quality time with the family is a non-economic activity. Worshipping God and visiting temples comes under the cultural and religious aspect of the non-economic activity. Adding to this, the factor of helping the needful by donating for charity and even participating for relief camps like blood donation is a part of social welfare activities that are known to be apart of a non-economic activity.
