Tips to solve maths problems

Shyam Sundar Pandey

Use your skill to think as fast as u can to solve ur problems related to any field specially in maths.

F.g. a man gives the discount of 37.5% to the customer & gets 25% profit.  if he gives 40% discount then what will be the loss or profit percentage?

Solution:     Don't go through methods of percentage directly.

Convert 37.5% into fraction as fast as u can.

It will be 3/8.  i.e. he is getting 5/8 of mrp & is equal to 125% because sp=100+25=125 as 25% is the profit.

i.e. he is paying only 4/8 i.e.  50% only.

If now discunt is 40% then he will get 60% of mrp & paying  50% so profit is 10 & will be 20% of 50.

final answer is 20% profit.

Dear stuidents  it is necessary to think this as fast as u can so please improve ur speed of thinking for methods to tackle the problems.

                                                                                           thank you
