One should study rigorously for class 9 , especially maths,in order to lay a strong foundation for way ahead.Infact, if more efforts are put in 9th, 10th just becomes an extended tenure of study.

If study with full concentration ,then 5 to 6 hours are enough

An hour at least for mathematics everyday and another two hours for remaining subjects as per their difficulty level.....apart from school hours. And this helps you how to plan for learning/revision in class 10.

3 to 5 hours is good enough for 9th grade student . Apart from study focus on one outdoor game at least . best of luck for your exams
