The formula for Range = v^2/g x sin 2A Given 3000 = v^2/g x sin 60 Hence v^2/g = 3000/sin 60 = 6000/1.732 = 3464.2 The Range will be maximum when the angle pf firing is 45 degree Range = v^2/g x sin 90 = 3464.2 x 1 = 3464.2 m So the bulet will not hit a target 5000 m away.
