Not necessarily great scores, but above average scores are usually the trend as Class 10th is the foundation for 11th, 12th and IITJEE. I scored a CGPA of 9.8/10 in Class 10th CBSE board

It doesn't work like that. Even average to below average person in 10th could clear IIT-JEE . As the higher basics starts from 11th course .

Even IITians are normal students in their school life , there is no specific percentages just for them, but it's just their vision towards them which make them to get into IIT
