i) Particles of matter have spaces between them. (ii) Particles of matter are continuously moving. (iii) Particles of matter attract each other. (iv) Kinetic energy of particles increases with increase in temperature.

Why when a ball dropped from a height, its speed continuously increased?
the potential energy gets converted into kinetic energy so obviously yes. as velocity is the only variable , as the height decreases, there should be a corresponding increase in the velocity. (potential energy = mgh, kinetic energy = 1/2 mvxv
