Sample space = {(1,1), (1,2,), ........, (5,6), (6,1), (6,6)} Number of sample space or cardinality of S = |s|= 36 Let A be the event of getting total of 10 or 11 A={(5,5),(5,6),(4,6),(6,4),(6,5)}. |A|=5. P(A)= |A|/|S|= 5 / 36.
