We can confirm the colorless liquid to be water by putting it on a gas stove and watching if it starts boiling at exactly 100 degrees Celsius

One easy step is to check its boiling point that is if its boiling point is around 100 degree celcius then it confirms that the colourless liquid is water.

Calculate the mass of 0.5 mole of N2 gas (mass from mole of molecule).
Molar mass of N2 is 28(since atomic weight of nitrogen is 14and forN2=14*2). So mass of 1 mole of N2 is 28g.Therefore mass of 0.5 mole is 28/2 =14g
