I think Chinese language is not difficult. It is different. It belongs to a different family of languages. Therefore we find it hard to learn it. But if we follow a right approach we can learn the language easily.

It depends on what level you want to achieve and how hard you study. If you work hard enough and are exposed to native circumstance, you can speak simple Chines even with one month. practice and devotion accounts a lot in language learning.

What is the best way to learn Chinese language?
Start learning to speak, and then learn the characters one by one. Start making sentences with characters and practice the sentences many times, rather than writing the same character a hundred times.
