Visalakshi

I am a passionate and dedicated educator with 10 years of teaching experience, specialising in Science and Mathematics for students in Grades 6 to 8. I have experience teaching both CBSE and ICSE curricula and focus on helping students develop a strong understanding of their subjects.

I hold a Master of Science (M.Sc.) did my Msc in Stella Maris(2008) and b.ed in SRM institute(2015-2017) My academic background, combined with my teaching experience, enables me to approach school-level Science and Mathematics with a clear understanding of the concepts students need to build a strong foundation.

My teaching is focused on developing conceptual understanding rather than encouraging students to simply memorise information. I aim to explain topics clearly and systematically so that students can understand the underlying concepts and apply their knowledge to different questions.

I also place importance on critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Through interactive and student-friendly teaching methods, I encourage students to participate actively in the learning process and develop the confidence to approach challenging concepts and questions independently.

With experience across both CBSE and ICSE curricula, I understand the importance of adapting lessons to the academic requirements of different boards. I currently offer tuition for Class 6 and specialise in Science and Mathematics for Grades 6 to 8.

I believe that every student can learn effectively when concepts are presented in a way that is clear and engaging. My aim is to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, clarifying doubts and actively participating in class.

I offer online classes as well as classes at the student's home. I am proficient in Tamil and English and have basic proficiency in Hindi, allowing me to communicate with students from different backgrounds.

My goal is to help students strengthen their fundamentals, develop critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, and approach Science and Mathematics with greater confidence. I strive to make learning interactive, understandable and meaningful for every student I teach.
