I hold a rich musical heritage with a family deeply rooted in melodies. With an experience spanning five melodious years, I have dedicated myself to the art of teaching Carnatic vocal music. My journey began with a diploma in Carnatic music, and I am currently pursuing my MA in this soulful art form.
Guided by my passion for music and a desire to share its beauty with others, I have taken up the role of a music educator. My teaching endeavours extend to the physical realm and the virtual world, as I conduct offline and online sessions. With a blend of practical training and theoretical insights, I strive to provide a comprehensive learning experience to my students.
I aim to nurture a deep understanding of Carnatic music in my teaching practice. I meticulously craft my lessons, ensuring they encompass both practical exercises and theoretical foundations. My teaching approach covers the intricacies of Carnatic vocal techniques and delves into the theoretical aspects underpinning this art. I take pride in guiding my students through engaging practical sessions, allowing them to explore the intricacies of this musical genre.
As a dedicated music educator, I also assist my students in preparing for grade exams. I believe in a holistic approach to these exams, incorporating a range of resources to aid learning. I refer to various affiliated books and notes, enabling my students to grasp the material comprehensively. This approach equips them for the exams and a lifelong appreciation and understanding of Carnatic music. As a teacher, I aim to instil a deep passion for Carnatic music in each student. I aspire to ignite their love for melodies and rhythms through personalised guidance and a well-rounded curriculum.
