Reshma I. - Accounts Executive professional with 7 year experience

I teach students from Classes 1 to 5 across different subjects according to their academic requirements, and I also teach Accounts. I have around 6 years of teaching experience and enjoy helping students improve their understanding, confidence, and academic performance. I believe that younger students especially benefit from patient guidance and explanations that are simple, clear, and easy to relate to.

Over the years, I have taught students with different learning styles and requirements. I make an effort to understand how each student learns so that I can adapt my explanations and teaching approach accordingly. My aim is to ensure that students do not feel overwhelmed by their lessons and are able to understand concepts comfortably at their own pace.

I completed my Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) from Ethiraj College for Women in 2018 under the University of Madras. I also completed my MBA in Hospitality and Tourism (HT) from the University of Madras in 2020. My academic background has helped me develop a strong foundation in commerce-related subjects, including Accounts, while also giving me a broader academic perspective.

My experience in teaching has been very rewarding for me. I particularly enjoy seeing students gradually become more comfortable with subjects that they initially find difficult. Helping a student understand a concept, gain confidence, and improve academically gives me a sense of satisfaction and motivates me to continue improving my teaching approach.

I follow a structured and student-friendly methodology. Before a class, I prepare a lesson plan based on the student’s learning requirements and syllabus. During the session, I encourage students to participate actively, ask questions, and explain their understanding. I use examples and practical activities wherever possible to make lessons more interesting and easier to understand.

I conduct my classes online and use PPT and a whiteboard as teaching resources. These tools help me organize the lesson, explain concepts clearly, and make important points easier for students to follow. I believe that interactive learning is more effective than simply delivering information, so I encourage students to participate throughout the session.

My main goal is to help students develop a clear understanding of their subjects rather than depending only on memorization. Whether I am teaching younger students across their school subjects or helping students with Accounts, I try to provide patient, structured, and personalized guidance. I want my students to become more confident learners and steadily improve their academic performance.
