What is the passing mark for TOEFL?

There is no such thing like pass or failure but your score is important. Most of the Western Universities, reputed institutions and agencies prefer higher scores.There are four Basic skill tests, namely Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking and each carry 0 to 30 marks. Most of the Western Universities, reputed institutions and agencies prefer higher scores.There are four Basic skill tests, namely Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking and each carry 0 to 30 marks. An ordinary student needs 30 hours of learning the Basic concepts of English Grammar. Apart from that, you have to read some standard English Newspapers and journals with the help of Dictionary to improve your vocabulary power. For listening and speaking skills, you have to study Phonetics. It can be learnt within 10 hours, but you should practise them sincerely. You shall listen to BBC News and view English movies and Documentaries. After this, you will be more confident and it will be the right time to appear for the TOEFL test.
