"I am writing this to share my IELTS exam journey for my Canada immigration process. Having studied in a Tamil-medium school and being in my 50s, I faced a significant challenge in developing my reading skills to achieve my target band score of 6 in all modules. While I managed to reach my goal in all other areas, reading remained a struggle. I had been trying on my own and with the help of several tutors for a couple of years, but I was still unable to break through. During this journey, I was introduced to Deepika Madam by my friend Arun, who had been her student. She mentored me through this major hurdle in my life. From the very first day, I briefed her about my current situation and expectations. One thing she said stood out to me: "You have achieved so much in your career, and this is nothing for you." Those words made me think positively and motivated me deeply. In the beginning, I attended her classes and did my homework intermittently, struggling to balance work pressure and family commitments. But with her constant, gentle encouragement, I began to complete my assignments more consistently and with greater dedication. However, in all my practice tests, my reading score remained at 6, and some days, it was even lower. Had it been another teacher, they might have given up due to the challenges I was facing. But Deepika Madam never lost confidence in me. She was always willing to adjust her schedule to accommodate my classes and review my homework thoroughly. She ensured that I met my required score. One thing I learned from Deepika Madam is her commitment and dedication, as well as her thorough and detailed reviews. Even more valuable is how she encourages me to follow the schedule and complete my homework with her polite and easygoing approach. Many days, I prepared consistently to attend her class. A special thanks to Deepika Madam, who helped me overcome a major milestone. My kids felt very proud of me for achieving this. We are eagerly awaiting our luck in obtaining Canadian Permanent Residence and remain very positive that we will meet soon. Be blessed by the Divine! "I really loved the classes. It was very engaging. I felt like it was a safe space, if I had any doubt, no matter how small, I could ask it without being reluctant.
