Ions are the atoms or molecules having a charge on it, which is due to the gain or loss of electrons to form an ionic bond. The ions with opposite charges suffer opposite charge attraction, i.e. the electrostatic attraction and form the compound based on ionic bond.

the ions are of two types:

Cation: Positively charged atom, i.e. formed by loss of extra electron in the outermost shell of an atom which is loosely bound or have a least nuclear charge. E.g. Na+, Ca2+, Mg2+, etc..

Anion: Negatively charged atom, i.e. formed by the gain of one or more electron to complete the octet of the outermost shell of the atom. e.g. Cl-, Br-, SO2-, etc.

Well, the position vector belongs to the position of a particular point, e.g. position of point A from origin O. But, displacement vector is the difference between two or more points. e.g. suppose the particle from point A now moves to a new position of point B then the vector representing the difference between OB and OA, i.e. AB is known as displacement vector.

Well, it depends upon the strength of students you have. If you have a small batch, then there is no need for the board in that case you can teach them using pages or their notebook. But, the fact is not valid for a large batch where teaching with pages or journal becomes cumbersome as you won't be able to distribute those pages or notes efficiently to every student, therefore in such case whiteboard will be a better option.
