I am graduating this year. Also, I've appeared for CAT 2018. I scored 85.5 percentile (90+ percentile both in VA/RC and DI/LR but only 33 percentile in QA). I'll appear this year too. What should be my preparation strategy for QA? Also, my academic background isn't impressive. I am first division though, maintaining 65% right since class 12th, had 92% in 10th class. I'm pursuing a BA in polity, geo and eco. What are the skills I should work on to build a good MBA profile? Thanks in anticipation.

Forget about profile. Just try getting as high a percentile as possible in CAT. Written +GD/PI/WAT form the major chunk of the selection process in any top b school.

Dear, you have to put more effort into your quant score. Take some Pvt tuition from some good renowned maths teacher. Put your time in solving issues. There are no short cuts. Learn the formulas, solve problems regularly. As a fresher, your cat score will do the talking.

Hi Sajal, You need to work on Quant/DI. These areas are scoring, and they can give a boost to your score overall. I conduct 1-1 classes for these sections as they have been my secure areas in my C.A.T. exam.

The profile doesn't matter if good percentile is there. Good percentile comes from the excellent strategy for which you have to do self-practice with proper direction.

But if you do well in Cat and GDPI, you can crack the admission. So concentrate on your improvement areas...

But if you do well in Cat and GDPI, you can crack the admission. So concentrate on your improvement areas (QA in your case) now. It appears you need to brush your basics for QA.
