CAT or the Common Admission Test is a 3-hour computer-based test conducted by Indian Institute of Management. It is one of the most sought-after national-level management entrance exams for admission to IIMs and top B-schools in India. CAT is conducted once a year with roughly two and a half lakh test-takers.
The candidate must hold a Bachelor's degree with at least 50 marks to appear in this exam, while SC, ST, OBC and other categories candidates must hold at least 45% marks. Candidates in the final year of bachelor's degree are likewise eligible to apply for CAT exam.
