I'm learning Carnatic music, and I also want to learn piano which is a western influence. Is it okay to mix both of the genres?

But before that you should make why do you want to do that, because its not necessary piano is for western music only, even in hindi classical music, bhajans, ghazals you will find keyboard/piano everywhere so its great to learn both but not simuntaneously, forst learn one thinh...
