I have been a senior merchandiser in textiles & hard goods and have been with reputed MNCs for 20+yrs. Well versed with interacting with overseas buyers and domestic Indian exporters, developing & sourcing new products, negotiating and fetching business. Have been using emails and Microsoft office for communication and also travelling when required. Creativity interests me. I'm staying in Kalkaji, New Delhi and wanting a job within area of 5-7km app. It could be from 6 to 8 hrs of working time so that I can balance my home and work together. Please advise options. Thank you.

You can opt for HR marketing side. I feel it is good for you. Can you please let me know your education background? So that I can suggest accuratetly. Seeing your question, it will be good if you go marketing side. There is huge opportunities coming to India near future.

I suggest you engage as a consultant to a few companies that benefit from your expertise & experience. This will give you freedom to work as per your comfort. Alternatively, engage with a firm in more of 'advisory or managing a team' kind of role..

If your work ex is good then its time you become a consultant and provide consultancies to companies. Geographies and distances will disappear. You stay home or create an office near your home, the choice is yours. Good luck.
