Find out what you like the most.Make a least of areas of your interest. Then identify in which areas you can make your career.Look in to long term.If you are not able to identify the areas.Talk to people you believe or look to them as mentor or idol kind off.I believe if you start thinking in these directions you will come near to the solution.

This is a typical case with most of the B.E and MCA graduates. They are technically strong in their subjects but are not able to get a job in the IT field. If they analyse the reason for this, they will find that the main drawback with them is their poor communication skills.

In the IT field, since the customers for most of these companies are foreign MNC's, effective communication skills ( not even ordinary communication skills) is a basic requirement for selection in the first place. Even if one is slightly deficient in Technical Skills, these IT companies are willing to recruit them and upgrade their skills by giving them training after selection but if one is deficient in communication skills, then they outright reject them at the initial interview itself.

Those who realise this and take training to improve their communication skills, soon get success in their interviews with IT companies. I have seen such encouraging results in hundreds of my students. So advise your brother to take training in Communication Skills and Interview Skills first. «less

if you have basic degree in CS or IT, then according to me nothing is required in terms of education unless there is a purpose behind it to achieve something. If core IT interests you then look at whether you want to go for tech or managerial career and then discuss what are the emerging technologies where you have scope.

Yes these days homeopathy is finding its place and even that's been recognised internationally but you need to have a passion to be an stalwart in your field.. only then you will enjoy the learning part.
