Hello Christie,

The USA higher education system involves 4 years for a college degree. Hence all post graduate programs require 4 years of college study beyond the 12th grade of high school. For you it would be best to have another complete masters degree. It does not make sense to just have one more year after the 3 year bachelor degree and not do the extra that it takes to complete the Masters degree. Note that along with the MBA which typically takes two years, most Business Schools in the USa have a number of one year Masters degrees like MS in Marketing, or MS in Finance or MS in Business Analytics. The MS is what you would consider as MSc in India, Master of Science.

Hello Mohammed,

There are several engineering programs in terms of a variety of institutes in India. But it would be easier to come up with a strategy if you mention your past academic credentials and what you are currently pursuing.

I have done an intensive ESL course from Rice University, Houston Texas. I also have done 3.5 weeks CELTA from Teaching House Houston but had to quit due to personal reasons. I have come back to India and I am settled in Noida. Can I get a job of an ESL trainer here in Noida or Delhi? If so, please suggest.

Stuti replied | 15/07/2016

Yes I think you have plenty of opportunities in Noida. You can work as an Independent Consultant or Soft Skills Trainer. You need to explore your options about freelancing. There are many resources available on the internet nowadays...

Currently I m in third year of B.Tech. (ECE) at Chennai. Would you please guide me for my future plans as to whether I should complete my P.G., should I prepare for competitive exams or should I grab a job, if offered?? I am very much confused.

Sanjeev replied | 30/06/2016

Once you are done with graduation it would be good if you do PG, but if you have financial problems them go for job and work for 3 years, and then do PG.
Having PG will be greater advantage.

For competitive you should have started with First year only.

Hi Satrupa, If you wish to study further you can go for various pg programs in JNU, DU, TISS etc. You can further enhance your resume by also going for a short term foreign language program. If you have a flair for public sector job you can appear in various exams and can get one. If you consider defence as a good option you are eligible to get into Air Force, Army, Navy etc.

You must have a proper certificate of complete degree.
However, you can try for projects in smaller companies, provide them all your limitations before hand.
