In Java programming, what are the differences between the functions of 'int' and 'int []' when working with an array?

INT type of function return type is int where as for int return type is int array.

The may appear as part of the type at the beginning of the declaration, or as part of the declarator for a particular variable but But int a keeps type information together and is more verbose so I prefer it.
