I am B.Tech IT passout (2010 batch). Many of my friends completed their B.Tech in CSC. As per my experience there is not much difference. Only Few subjects (2-3) are different. Coming to industry evaluation process, both IT and CS candidates are treated equally.

CSE on the contrary, teaches many more fundamental topics related to the inner workings of a computer and gives you a much more in depth knowledge of the internals of a computer, while sacrificing on application based topics.
