The best way to prepare for GRE is during the 3-1 semester holidays. so by the time you are stepping in to 4th year, its easy and can engage time for your applications to various US universities. Moreover you have to have a time schedule prepared so as to not hurry as rat race.

B.Tech in Mechanical Engg from NIT Surat, Training officer Govt of NCT of Delhi

For GRE english plays an important role so I would suggest you to read as much as possible and if your english is not good then go for coaching classes. And with B Tech it is much easier task to manage the classes.
