As approximation methods and anti aliasing is applied some of the pixel information is left out each time. read less

For analysis purpose we first divide the digital image in its smallest unit i.e., bit and then we do some calculation on that. calculation may of different type like multiplication (scaling) or addition, subtraction etc.
