ofcourse you can. after doing diploma you give entrance test and get admission into btech 2nd year directly and eventually you will be awarede the degree of engineering.there are many examples where people started with diploma and eventually became very successful engineers.

what is differennce between btech and bachelor of engineering?
BE is knowledge oriented. B Tech is skill oriented. BE is more theoritical and B Tech is more practical. In BE we study the reasons also in depth.
