Natya Natya corresponds to drama. Natya means dramatic representation or drama with speech, music and dancing. According to Abhinaya Darpanam, 'Naatyam tannaatakam chava pujyam purvakathaayutam', that is Natya or Nataka which has some traditional story for its theme is an adorable (art).
