I think to help with this, personalization is very important. In a class of 60 minutes, if we can spare 10 minutes and talk to students about their experience of the subject and what is their growth in the subject then that would help increasing the productivity because at the end of the day, what everyone wants is someone to appreciate and correct the efforts they are making.
