Yeah very good option if you are interested in computer applications.and development..

if you are completing 12th, and you have math as a subject i will suggest go for B.TEch in CS instead of BCA. BCA alone will not help you for getting jobs in market. you have to do MCA also and some certification courses like ORacle Certification to increase the chances of job.

BCA alone is good only if your are opting for Correspondence course or if u do not have craze for BTech degree.. You need to be good at programming skills, also prepared to do MCA later on
