Oh software making its a process or steps which all developers follow like its first step is 1) Requirement gathering : in this stage first you will gather all the requirements of clients or third party 2)Defining Requirements : Once the requirement analysis is done the next step is to clearly define and document the product requirements and get them approved from the customer or the market analysts. 3)Design :In this s/w design is prepared from the requirements. 4)Implementation :In this phase actual implementation of product is done that means now developer will develop the actual product he or she will start coding. 5)Testing :The product he or she has made whether it fulfills all the requirements or not as well as it works correctly or not. in this phase integration testing , unit testing , acceptance testing and all other things are checked. NOTE : we can say that testing is not only one part of sdlc. In each and every single step of sdlc or in each and every phase of sdlc testing is done. And it should be done as the problem can be corrected when it is small. 6)Deployment : Now actual product is given to the customer that is it is delivered to customer with user manuals like how to use s/w and with other necessary documents. 7)Maintenance : Now when customer starts using our product and if any problems come , developer need to resolve them on timely basis that is called maintenance of the software. These all are sdlc(Software development life cycle) stages. read less
