postman are central government employee where as clerk is under rbi norms. but clerk is more preferable than postman.

Bank clerk is better in terms of salary and future prospects. If you want to enjoy sarkari feeling then postman... less promotion.. less salary

Yes one should give more preference to apply for the post of postman job rather go for the bank clerk reason is that competition is higher in clerk exam.
