Tenzin Norzam

I’m Tenzin Norzam from Himachal Pradesh — a passionate and purpose-driven educator with a Bachelor’s and Master’s in Education from Delhi University. I am CTET-qualified (Paper I & II) and have cleared the UGC NET-JRF in Education. My core strength lies in blending academic excellence with culturally inclusive and student-centered pedagogy that makes learning meaningful and engaging for every child.

Over the past two years, I’ve worked as a Fellow with Teach For India, where I taught Grades 5 and 6 in government schools. My classroom of 59 incredible students showed exceptional growth through personalized, inclusive strategies that respected their diverse learning needs. I’ve also supported children up to Grade 8 through one-on-one home tutoring in English, Math, Science, and Social Science.

I strongly believe that when we integrate culture into learning, students not only understand concepts better, but also develop empathy, curiosity, and confidence in their own identities. In my experience, this approach has significantly improved academic performance, participation, and reduced social biases in the classroom. I also emphasize building strong partnerships with parents, as consistent parental involvement has proven to be a game-changer in students' learning outcomes.

As an educator, my goal is to empower every child to succeed — not just academically, but as thoughtful, aware, and confident individuals.
