I am a dedicated medical educator specializing in Microbiology for MBBS and other medical students, with 15 years of teaching experience. I am passionate about helping aspiring medical professionals develop a strong understanding of microbiological concepts, strengthen their fundamentals, and prepare confidently for their examinations. I understand that Microbiology involves several complex concepts and extensive theoretical knowledge, so my teaching approach focuses on simplifying difficult topics through clear explanations, structured lessons, and practical examples.

I am a postgraduate in Medical Microbiology and was awarded the Tamil Nadu State First Rank and Gold Medal in 2012. Driven by my passion for academic excellence, research, and continuous learning, I moved to the United Kingdom to pursue an MRes in Molecular Microbiology at Nottingham Trent University. I successfully completed the program in 2019 with an honorary distinction and the top grade. My academic journey has helped me develop an in-depth understanding of Medical and Molecular Microbiology, which I bring into my teaching sessions.

I have over six years of experience teaching Microbiology to undergraduate medical students (MBBS) and have received the Best Young Teacher Award twice during the early stages of my teaching career. One of my notable professional achievements was serving as a Vice-Principal at an educational institution in Bangalore, where I gained valuable experience in academic leadership, student development, and educational administration. I am currently working as a Research Scientist through a combined doctoral program involving the University of Oxford and the University of Hertfordshire. My involvement in research allows me to remain connected with developments in the field and continuously expand my subject knowledge.

My teaching methodology focuses on making complex medical concepts simple, systematic, and engaging. I conduct interactive online sessions using PowerPoint presentations, digital whiteboards, audiovisual aids, and other effective teaching resources. I explain topics step-by-step, emphasizing important concepts and helping students understand the underlying principles rather than relying entirely on memorization. I have also prepared comprehensive handwritten notes covering all topics in Microbiology, which are available in both soft and hard copies upon request. These notes are designed to support students with their regular studies, revision, and examination preparation.

As an educator, I believe that strong fundamentals and conceptual clarity are essential for success in medical education. I encourage students to ask questions, participate actively, and clarify their doubts throughout the sessions. My goal is to make Microbiology easier to understand while helping students develop confidence in applying their knowledge during examinations and their future medical careers. I strive to provide detailed academic guidance, structured preparation, and continuous support so that every student can make meaningful progress and achieve their academic goals.
